What can I expect on my first visit to the Naturopath?

Your initial naturopathic consultation is thorough and requires an hour to an hour and a half of your time and begins with a questionnaire designed to provide an overview of your physical and emotional wellbeing.

The examination will follow and our Naturopaths will use a variety of methods to assess your state of health and nutritional status including Iris Diagnosis, Vega machine together with a nail and tongue examination.

Our Naturopaths will then put all the information together to reveal the underlying causes behind your symptoms. A unique treatment program is created for you and may include dietary and lifestyle changes, herbal medicines, homoeopathics or nutritional supplements.

Any concerns or questions will be addressed as your health and happiness is of the utmost importance.

What to expect at subsequent consults?

A follow up consultation is usually required 2-4 weeks after the initial visit and takes 30 to 45 minutes. At this stage you will be tested again to closely monitor your progress and adjust recommendations accordingly.

What do I bring?

Any referrals, x-rays and or reports that may be of relevance to the consultation.

Payment – cash, cheque or credit card. Hicaps is only available for this service with selected health funds. Please check with your health fund.

If Hicaps is not available with your private health fund, a receipt will be given allowing you to claim this service.
